For Centuries, Tibetan thankas have been used to depict in ornate detail. the various teachings associated with Tibetan Buddhism. All the thankas in the Bodhi Tree collection have been painted by masters who have been trained in the precise rules which govern the shaping of this sacred art form. Through the sacred art form thankas have become a powerful vehicle for mirroring the deeper levels of our minds and showing us the true nature of our beings. Through meditating on these images we can begin to generate the qualities of the Buddha and aspire towards enlightenment.
